《烏龍服務員》劇情簡介
霍頓先生（達德利·摩爾 Dudley Moore 飾）住進了加百利酒店，決定在那裏同婚姻介紹所介紹的女子帕特麗夏（佩內洛普·威爾頓 Penelope Wilton 飾）見麵。美國來的梅爾文（達德利·摩爾 Dudley Moore 飾）先生也在同日入住酒店，他來這裏是為了完成自己的工作。與此同時，殺手邁克（布萊恩·布朗 Bryan Brown 飾）也棲身於此，潛伏在黑暗中監視著自己的獵物，伺機而動。
原本八竿子打不到一起去的三個人，因為一個糊裏糊塗的服務生送錯了信而被陰差陽錯的攪合到了一起，離奇而又荒謬的意外接二連三的發生。不僅如此，這一連串的錯誤還在誤打誤撞之下的在邁克和帕特麗夏之間牽起了紅線。
