講述了德裏的兩位婚禮策劃者塔拉和卡蘭的生活。印度是一個新舊交融的國家。傳統與現代的觀念在印度婚禮的背景下，揭示了許多秘密和謊言。當兩人通過包辦婚姻、嫁妝交易和童貞測試時，所謂的上流社會的自由結構開始瓦解。
