故事改外編自微軟同名遊戲。公元2552年，因為地球人口太多，人類不得不開始向星際間的殉眾多行星移民，以開發新的空間。在某個太空移民組織突然消失後，派去調查此事的艦隊僅有一艘戰艦返回了基地。從此，外星種族星盟(Covenant)對人類的侵略就拉開了序幕，星盟的科技遠遠勝過於地球，逼得地球的軍隊節節敗退，最後人類隻好準備前往遠方未探測過的宇宙尋求一線生機。在探測過程中，指揮官與他的組員被星盟艦隊發現並追上。緊急關頭，他們發現了Halo，一個巨大的異形環狀世界，那裏有著一萬公裏的直徑與可呼吸的氣體。在這個巨大的具有生命的圓環裏，居住著不可思議的生物、奇特的植物、扭曲的地下巢穴、巨大的山脈，以及數不盡的充滿怒氣的異形。在飛船被擊毀之後，部分的人類組員登陸在Halo的表麵上開始了一場與星盟的戰爭……

2011 歐美動漫簡介： 這部劇是08年下半年冒出來好得出人意外的爆笑小喜劇。本來作者想拍個電視劇，但找不到真人演出，又找不到動畫師幫他畫，於是就自己摸索著用動畫軟體做了個短片，然後拿去參展，竟然被HBO看上，就此搬上螢幕，成為繼Flight of the Conchords後，HBO又一最新喜劇傑作。本劇圍繞主人公TIM的工作生活展開，講述了這個囧男每天被同事調侃，被女友折騰，被朋友涮鍋的種種窘事。整集25分鍾的動畫，雖說沒有笑的前仰後合，不過一直是讓人欲笑還抑之的狀態。雖然畫麵很簡單，甚至可以用簡陋來形容，不過精彩詼諧的對白完全彌補了畫麵的缺憾，甚至使原本簡單的畫麵更透出一股靈氣。更加值得一提的是，本劇的配音演員口齒清晰，發音純正，語速雖然快，不過用詞簡單，是難得的學習口語的優秀教材。不過先提一下，畢竟是成人動畫，所以有些段子還是有點顏色的，不要把它想象成PG或者是G級別的動畫。
