這一季當中的話題分別由性別歧視，性取向探索，職場欺淩，家庭主婦糾結，婚姻痛苦，青少年成長，中產階級掙紮 ，等等組成，很多觀眾表示，看這個劇是對婚姻和家庭最大的恐懼。F is for family 是美國越南戰爭之後的一個家庭黑色喜劇。尤其的亮點是：毒品，錢，搖滾樂。第二季不如第一季好看但是仍然有很多笑點，並沒有馬頭男那麽經典但絕對值得一看。 這個動畫算不上是喜劇動畫，應該說是正劇更恰當一些，用動畫的形式再現了七十年代的美國。越戰，各種社會頑疾，維權運動，貧富差距等等，都在這個動畫裏有所體現。雖說主演是由喜劇演員Bill Burr配音的，但卻掩蓋不了整部片子裏濃濃的悲觀情調。
